Welcome to the website of the Permanent Mission of the United Republic of Tanzania to the UN Office and other International Organizations in Geneva.
The Mission represents the interests and ideals of Tanzania at the Geneva based United Nations’s Office and international organisations within the fields of trade, human rights, global health, labour, digitalisation and other issues.
We participate in multilateral processes, and thereby contribute to global issues by engaging actively in reaching mutual understanding with the international organisations and its Member States through transparency and constructive dialogue.
We also support and advise our delegations participating in Geneva at high-level meetings and are mandated to operate on their behalf on a daily basis as permanent representatives of the United Republic of Tanzania.
This website is intended to serve as a continuous source of information about the tasks of the Tanzanian Mission in Geneva, about the organisations with which we cooperate and about the issues that are highest on our agenda.
Tanzania, being a country of unfolding and unlimited opportunities, will continue to be an active participant in multilateral diplomacy.
